Shanghai Yaselan, which is the first grand-format inkjet printer manufacturer in China, specializes in development and production of inkjet graphics equipments.
Yaselan's products are focusing on the large-format digital inkjet graphics systems. The history of our product development can be divided into five stages since year of 1998. The first 2 printers came out before 2000, which were the frame-type computer-controlled airbrush printer and 5m-wide rolling-type airbrush system YSL-5000A. In October of 2000, the first China-made grand-format digital inkjet printer YSL-D3500 was shipped from Yaselan's factory to a customer in Jinan, Shandong province. This big printer utilized industrial DOD piezo printheads from Xaar, the famous UK piezo printheads manufacturer. Featuring high precision, high speed and high quality, YSL-D3500 has given Yaselan a good reputation and success in the market and contributed a big portion of sales for the company as well. Coming after were several models in the same series (models: YSL-D2600, YSL-D3500M and YSL-D3524, which achieved a breakthrough in sales with a total units of more than 300). Yaselan also work closely with another famous printhead manufacturer-Spectra. The China first Spectra based grand-format digital inkjet printer-YSL-S8N was also developed in Yaselan. We launched this new high-end printer in August 2002. Furthermore, we embarked on R & D of high resolution printers with Konica Minolta printheads nearly three years ago. Yaselan accumulates more and more experience in the application of Konica Minolta printheads in today's printing markets. Yaselan inkjet printers with Konica Minolta 512 will follow the new epoch towards high resolution & automation on more rigid and roll-fed substrates. With three generations of grand-format inkjet printers and more than 1200-unit installations, Yaselan has become a major player in the industry of outdoor printing equipment.
