It was established by SIOM in 1998 to adapt the reform of scientific and technological system and transform the scientific and technological results. It is situated in the industrial park of SIOM. The main technical engineers of Daheng are part-time senior researchers of Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics. The registered capital of it is RMB20, 215, 800. It is specialized in hardness testers, high temperature furnaces, optical components, laser components, optical crystal, special optical glass, special light powers, laser processing and applying system, experimental equipment, fine mechanical accessories, photoelectric products and optical measuring devices. Daheng acquired the rights of import and export in December of 2002 and initiated to develop the international business of import and export. Daheng also participates as shareholder or main shareholder in 10 hi-tech companies.
