Shanghai Valve Factory Co., Ltd (SVF is called hereafter), originally founded in 1921 with its previous name "Shanghai Valve Factory", is located in SHANGHAI DAZHONG INDUSTRIAL PARK, Anting District, Suburban of Shanghai. In January of 2006, the change from state ownership into private ownership reactivated the company's vigor and enthusiasm. With its renewed vigor and ideas and persistent creativity and innovation, SVF will design, manufacture and provide newer type, larger scale and better quality products to all the clients.
SVF, which is a leading enterprise among its industry and the vice chairman of the board of the China General Machinery and Industrial Association, specializes in manufacturing different kinds of high and medium pressure valves covering gate valve, globe valve, check valve, safety valve, control valve, ball valve, butterfly valve, control valve with other special ones used for NPP and military, totally up to 6000 different types, (with size ranging from 3/25" to 120", rating from 150Lb to 4000Lb and temperature from -196º C to 750º C). The material for the valves are Carbon steel like WCB, WCC, LCB, LCC and A105, stainless steel like CF8, CF8M, CF3, CF3M, CK20, F304, F316 and F316L and Alloy steel like WC6, WC9, C5, C12, C12A, LC1, LC2, LC3 and LC4, as well as other special materials. The actuators vary from manual drive, motorized drive, pneumatic drive, and pneumatic-hydraulic drive. The standards it adopts are API, ASME, JIS, BS, DIN with its latest version.
SVF is capable of manufacturing various kinds of valves with its adequate certificates and honors such as ISO9001, API, and CE issued by TUV, safety registration certificate for manufacturing pressure-containing pipeline element and license for producing NPP valves issued by the Chinese government, certificate of registered resource members for CNOOC and CNPC.
