Centrifugal Desulfuration Pump in Power Plant

Pump is a type of transportation machine. A type of water pump intended for use in situations where solids are accidentally or intentionally suspended in water. As centrifugal pumps, slurry pumps rotate water by way of impeller.

Desulfurization pump used in the power plant to washing the sufer dioxide which preoduced during burning the coal. The desulphurization pump can not generate the poisonous by itself, it is belong to the desulphurization system in the power plant.

Where and how pump used: Pump is widely used in mining, metallurgy, coal washing, power plant, sewage water treatment, dredging, chemical and petroleum industries. Worked with machines like ball mill, hydraulic cyclone, magnetic separator, press filter, etc.

Safety problems while using pump:
1. Do not apply heat to the impeller hub or inlet eye to assist impeller removal.
2. Do not operate the pump for an extended time with no or very low flowrate.
3. Do not feed very hot or very cold fluid into a pump at ambient temperature.
4. Ensure the pump shaft rotate according to the arrow mark.
5. Motor trial run should tripped out with the pump. Forbid reverse rotation.
6. If use stuffing seal, the pump should install the packing before running.
7. In oil lubrication, the pump should be added oil according to the oil leveler. Forbid oil free running.
