Since being founded in 2004, Ningbo Co-star Materials Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. Has been specialized in R&D and production of rare earth permanent magnets and assemblies, and is one of the few that produce both SmCo and NdFeB magnets. Through 8 years' great-leap-forward development, now Co-star owns two plants: One plant is for SmCo production, which covers an area of 12000 square meters including an area of 8000 square meters of factory building; The other plant is for NdFeB production, which covers an area of 24500 square meters including an area of 11600 square meters of the first phase factory building. Due to the advanced producing, machining and testing equipments equipped, it has annual production capacity of 800 tons of SmCo and 1200 tons of NdFeB, its fixed asset value exceeds RMB 60 million, and the turnover has been exceeding RMB 100 million for several years.

PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENT MACHINING ABILITY

Co-star has machining workshops for SmCo and NdFeB respectively. They have inside diameter slicers, wire-cutting machines, flat grinding machines and centerless grinders, etc. They are able to machine not only normal blocks, disks and segments, but also especially high precision small blocks and hyper-normal products, through using laser drilling and grinding to machine the magnets of thin-wall, deep hole, which has high precision as well as tiny hole.

The assembly workshop can supply customers with customized magnetic assemblies and technical consultation and service. Currently our latest developed magnetic assemblies that can reduce the eddy current of permanent magnet synchronous motors are used in the automotive motors successfully.
