Dongtai Guangya Aquatic Products Co., Ltd is a joint venture enterprise, established in February 1998. The company is located in the tourist economic zone along the coastal wetlands of Dongtai city, which is subordinate to Dongtai Beach Mudflat and Fishery Bureau, enjoying the rights of self-support export operation approved by the state. It is the provincial aquatic fine breed fishery of Jiangsu province(the national Aquatic fine breed fishery is under construction), the leading enterprise of agricultural industrialization in Jiangsu Province, the top leading enterprise of agricultural industrialization of Yancheng city, the municipal-level modern agricultural demonstration park of Yancheng city, and one of the top ten enterprises in the equaclture industry of Yancheng city. It mainly engages in sea water and fresh water breeding, aquaculture, processing and management of aquatic products, and the development of coastal beach mudflat. It is a leading export-oriented enterprise integrating breeding, cultivating, processing, research, producing and trade into one. The company has passed the certification of the international quality management system ISO9001-2000. Guangya brand clam production base is authorized the "pollution-free aquatic production base in Jiangsu province". Guangya brand living clam and living mussel products are granted the honor of "grade A green food products", and has been licensed to use the sign of green food. The artificial lobworm breeding project and the industrial lobworm aquaculture project have been listed as the programs of "National Spark Project of China". Besides, the company third prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of both Dongtai city, and Yancheng city.

The company now occupies the area of over 11, 000mu, having 76, 000mu of natural ecological beach mudflat attaching to the land. It owns the large-scale sea-water purification pool which is of "three-level purification and one-level disinfection", 6800 square meters of pollution-free industrial breeding field, 11, 700 square meters of pollution-free sea food processing area. The 8, 000mu pollution-free high-standard aquaculture pond of fish, shrimp, crab, and shellfish, and the 1, 000mu pollution-free high-efficiency agricultural park zone have taken shape. The 6, 700 square meters eel breeding field, 600 mu high-efficiency eel cultivation earthen pond, the exporting and processing zone with an annual output of 1, 400 tons of toasted eel, and the 1, 200-ton of freezing processing plant have been established and put into operation. For the potential further development of the company, it has set up a national Chinese Venus fine breed field, forming the resources collocation with the combination of scientific research and artificial reserve of resources. It has built a 1, 900 square meters transit site of freezing storage, processing and logistics in Shanghai Pudong International Airport. It also possesses a Spirulina cultivation plant covering an area of 60, 000 square meters, specializing in the production of Spirulina, with an annual output of 200 tons of various products. The 10, 000 square meters high-efficiency Iobworm breeding area produces 50 tons of exported lobworm finished products annually. Our products are exported to faraway countries and areas, such as Japan, Korea, Belgium, Greece, Israel, Italy, France, Spain, Taiwan, Hong Kong, etc, which have been keeping the trend of being in short supply. The company has 9 affiliated enterprises, and 12 farmer agents who have signed a contract with our company, totally leading 600 households of fishermen(farmers), more than 1, 600 people, with the total aquaculture production area of 55, 000 mu. The Guangya industrial development park zone covering an area of 217 mu is under construction now, and will be finished to go into production in 2015.
