We're one of China's most important bases for scientific research, manufacturing and production of metallic functional materials. These materials include soft magnetic alloys, semi-hard and hard magnetic alloys, elastic alloys, controlled-expansion and glass-sealing alloys, superalloys, special stainless steel and components. Many of our new materials have filled gaps in the domestic market and reached international standards. In 2009, we were evaluated as a National High-tech Enterprise.
Our facilities are equipped with air-induction furnaces, vacuum-induction melting furnaces, electro-slag re-melting furnaces and other smelting devices. We also have advanced 1, 000-ton hydraulic forging machines, slab-grinding machines and hot-rolling band production lines, as well as four-high cold-rolling mills, 20-high cold-rolling mills, horizontal and vertical continuous bright annealing furnaces, strip-polishing machines and other advanced strip production equipment. And we have soft magnetic core production lines, and advanced physical and chemical inspection devices. So you can see we have all the equipment necessary to conduct thorough scientific research, as well as manufacture. All of our management is according to ISO 9001: 2008 guidelines.
We've developed over 200 items of metallic functional materials and over 2, 000 varieties of specifications, including as-cast alloys, forged bars, hot-rolled sheets, cold-rolled strips, cold-drawing bars and wires, investment castings, current transformers, shielding cases, punched products, crystalline soft magnetic cores, and nano-crystalline and amorphous cores.
